~~~ Lifelink ~~~
[ Proposal ]
Lifelink is a small puzzle game with a simple goal: find the creatures at the end of the game and retrieve the glass heart.
Life is stored in hearts. Each of these hearts shifts about and can be stacked together, but only if they're fully in their square.
The player progresses by moving from one room to another, solving puzzles in turn. As this is a game about physically interacting with life, it may prove to be odd.
Each puzzle should teach the player about how to manipulate the enemy’s life essence. It exists above the player as an attached physical heart, and some hearts are scattered around the room.
[ Player]
[Main Character]: Can manipulate life essence out of a target
[Swap Character]: Can shift life essence from yellow to blue when flipping, cannot interact with it otherwise
[ Enemies ]
The main creatures in the game are slimes, golems, and fairies. Each one interacts with life in a specific manner.
- Slimes are creatures to fight. Some are a bit stronger.
- Fairies/Ghosts/Wisps steal life. They generally can't be hurt.
- Golems interact with life in unusual fashion.
